Bottom line of Bloomberg’s Q & A with Ken Frydman at the 92nd Street Y last night: Linking him to Bush won’t work. Sorry guys. East Side liberals offered scattered boos when he tried to hide behind Koch to defend his Bush endorsement. But they laughed at his jokes, applauded through out, and gave him a standing O at the end.

Also: Bad news for Bill Knapp, Penn & Schoen. Mike’s not planning to spend another $75 million.
