Some have questioned the logic of Gifford Miller's candidacy for mayor, but we deduce from his recent campaign finance filing that he's expecting some shock endorsements: Rudy Giuliani, Anthony Weiner (who is evidently just a stalking horse), and Mike Bloomberg, who will drop out at an opportune moment. Our evidence:

Michael Carey, former Bloomberg special assistant: $750
Catherine Giuliani, Rudy cousin and aide: $500
and, as we noted before anybody was reading us, the clincher:
Rep. Anthony Weiner: $250

We also note with puzzlement that Catherine Giuliani gave $100 to Charles Barron. What would Rudy think?
