Goodbye Again

Well, that’s it for me.
It was great to be back this week. I hadn’t realized how much I missed some of the things that make New York politics unique: The concentration of money. The intensity of the media. The Clintons. Isac.
I’m hugely impressed by the responsiveness of the Politicker’s readers, especially those of you who carried me through this caretaker shift with your generous input. I’m also blown away by the downright scary level of knowledge demonstrated by the Commentators on this site.
Thanks to Ben, and to my old paper, for entrusting me with this great thing for a few days. And thanks to all of you for your attention and patience over the past week.
Now, it’s back to New Jersey for me, with its own special variety of characters, sights and smells. (No laughing.)
Tomorrow: Ben.
