Nicolas Charles Rimalovski

May 24, 2005

5:12 p.m.

7 pounds, 2 ounces

Columbia Presbyterian

Erik
Rimalovski, the 36-year-old chief operating officer of R. Hochman Papers, and his wife of three years, 32-year-old Faye Nikolaidis, a client-services manager at P.R. firm CooperKatz & Co., are thrilled to be first-time parents. “I highly recommend having a baby,” said the new dad, perhaps because their little one isn't, you know, one of those screamers. “He's very good-natured. He doesn't cry very much, unless he needs a diaper change or is hungry.” During the pregnancy, the couple had the usual pre-child jitters. “We were thinking in a few weeks, we're going to have somebody with us all the time,” Mr.
Rimalovski
said. “We're not going to be able to go out to dinner, or watch The West Wing or The Thin Man on television. Our lives are going to change so profoundly, and they have. And I don't miss any of the other stuff.”
