Who’s winning the battle of the front pages?
Oof! The Daily News is pedantic and boring and pegged to a story–the posible indictment of Karl Rove–that is somehow both old news and pointlessly speculative. And the Post is an unreadable mishmash of competing promotions and teasers that once again leaves no room for art with the lead story. But at least the Post uses the old $-for-S trick.
Winner: New York Post
Overall standings: Daily News 3, New York Post 2
