Bruno Backs Pirro…For AG

Joe Bruno, fully off the reservation at this point, did not exactly do Jeanine’s Senate bid a favor in remarks we have from an Albany source today:

“I have said from the beginning, and I know a lot of my colleagues and people within the party share the thought, that she would make a great Attorney General,” he said. “And I hope that before this procedure gets too much
further that Jeanine Pirro would reconsider and run for A.G.”

Bruno called Pirro “a highly talented, qualified individual that could run for any office
in the state,” but said she would be “of greater public service to a state ticket to run as attorney general.”
