12 Days and Counting

A group of carolers walked into the new Commerce Bank branch in Park Slope last week and broke into song:

“On the 12th day of Christmas, Bruce Ratner took from me
12 months of taxes
11 blocks of sidewalks
10 acres peopled
9 cultures mixing
8 unclogged subways
7 days a-strolling
6 sportless months
4 years in building
3 neighborhoods
2 thoroughfares
and an apartment for my family!”
