An anti-socialist blogger (with a rather weak grip on the details, but never mind) agrees, sort of: “You betcha. It’s pitting the reasonably well-paid blue-collar workers who operate mass transit (starting salary $34,000) against those often lesser-paid blue-collar workers who don’t earn enough to pay the tolls and parking that characterize the daily commute of the bridge-and-tunnel crowd and so must instead rely on mass transit to get to work.”
