In Clinton’s Defense

Well, the challenge stands: nobody seems to have found an instance of Hillary taking a stand against her political best interest. (Perhaps that means she learned something from her formative national political experience, a push for universal health care that was just that.)

But Mickey Kaus, with classic Kausian logic, rushes to her defense:

“Of course, now if Hillary took a stand that went against her best political interests it would simply look as if she’d determined it was in her best political interests to take a stand that went against her best political interests.”

He also chides the Democrats for, basically, requiring that their candidates be unelectable.
