Pataki and Pirro are having a campaign chat tomorrow. This could be big. Via the AP:
“Jeanine Pirro, under pressure from some top Republicans to give up her quest for the GOP nomination to challenge Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton next year, has asked to meet with Gov. George Pataki to discuss the future of her campaign, an aide to the governor said Thursday.
“Pirro campaign spokeswoman Andrea Tantaros said Thursday evening that while the prosecutor wanted to talk with the governor about her Senate campaign, she had no plans to leave the race.
“‘She’s in this race,’ Tantaros said.”
She’s in this race, indeed, but this is Thursday night. Friday is another day, and plans are, well….plans. So we’ll just wait for tomorrow and see.
