Seattle’s corporate invasion continues apace. Or not.

Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that Nordstrom is teaming up with the Related Companies to build a department store in Battery Park City.

The high-end retailer has reportedly eyed many properties throughout Manhattan throughout the years, to no avail; if built, the Battery Park City location would be its first store here.

But don’t hold your breath: Nordstrom’s flack says there’s nothing in the works.
