Liza Minelli.

The Los Angeles' Times Hot Property column reported yesterday that Liza Minnelli has finally sold her father Vicente's Beverly Hills estate for "about $3.5 million."

When her father died in 1986 he left the Hollywood Regency style house on one acre near the Beverly Hills Hotel to Liza, but on the condition that his widow, Lee, could remain living in the house until she died.

But in 2000, Liza put the house on the market at $3.5 million anyway.

In 2002, Lee sued Liza, claiming elder abuse and breach of contract, then dropped the lawsuit.

The estate went into escrow for four years. But now it seems something's been worked out. Lee still lives there, but the new owners plan to move in and re-do the place.

The column didn't identify the buyers or the asking price.
