Quinn’s Firings

A Council source calls to say Robert Jackson and Hiram Monserrate called an emergency, members only meeting of the Black Latino and Asian caucus (on the 16th floor of 250 Broadway in case you’re wondering) to discuss Christine Quinn’s firings.

The problem?

They don’t have a complete list of who exactly was fired, the source says. But it looks like “a good majority are people of color,” the source says. The most complete list so far is on Backroomie.

The hand-delivered notice reads: “We will discuss the recent central staff dismissals and the impact upon people of color.”
