Marchi Hospitalized

Staten Island State Senator John Marchi‘s put out this statement today:

Senator John J. Marchi was admitted to Albany Medical Center Hospital late yesterday for treatment of bleeding in his esophagus. Senator decided to go to the hospital after experiencing some discomfort Tuesday night and consulting with a Staten Island doctor.

Doctors quickly stopped the bleeding and the Senator is now resting comfortably. He has been advised by his doctors to remain in the hospital for observation over the next few days.

He’s the third senior Republican, along with Governor Pataki and Rep. Sweeney, in the hospital at the moment.
