McWilliam’s made a mint off cards. Why not real estate?
Last October, The Observer reported that Upper Deck C.E.O. Richard McWilliam was attempting a spectacular flip of his full-floor apartment at 50 Central Park South.
After paying just $20.8 million in 2004, he put it on the market for $35 million.
Then, The Observer reported in December when he cut $2 million off the price tag. Now, he’s taken another $2 million off the price for the 9,455 square-foot spread.
Regardless, if the sports card executive gets near his $31 million asking price, he’ll be making quite a substantial profit in less than two years.
