Siena Poll: Eliot sweeps

Eliot Spitzer can sleep well tonight … again. Today’s new Siena primary poll shows the AG trouncing his Democratic primary rival, Tom Suozzi, by a cozy six-to-one margin — or, 72 to 11 percent.

In the AG’s race, Andrew Cuomo still leads the pack with 34 percent of the primary vote. The runner-up, Mark Green, scored 21 percent. This is a safe margin for Cuomo, but is notably less than the 22 percent cushion a February Marist poll gave him.
