He said that the delegates were apalled by her speech, which included an impersonation of Margeret Thatcher (British accent and all), sappy and sentimental remarks to her daughter, who is enrolled in a naval academy, and a couple of flat jokes.

"When she got the opportunity to speak, that was the best thing that ever happened for me," said Spencer.
