Last November, The Observer reported that the Synergos Institute had found a buyer for their townhouse at 9 East 69th Street.

Back then, it was listing for $25 million, and has finally closed for a bit less, according to deed-transer records. The final price: $22.5 million.

Still no word yet on the new owner, which could determine whether the townhouse is converted to a grand, single family home or continue to provide commercial space.
