All Atlantic Yards, All the Time

We can’t help but remark on the purely coincidental pairing of two Atlantic Yards events tonight aimed at two very different constituencies, one mainly for people looking to move to the neighborhood and the other largely for people who already live there. Read below for Max Abelson’s report on the Forest City Ratner-ACORN extravaganza. There also happens to be the first of a series of meetings on how the community can respond to the draft environmental impact statement expected next week. That one, sponsored by the Council of Brooklyn Neighborhoods, is at 7 p.m. at St. Cyril’s Belarusian Cathedral, 401 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn. Hurry–maybe you can get to both.
