In addition to his demonstrable ability to stretch a buck on employee expenses, Andrew Cuomo seems to have found a good bargain on rent for his campaign office.

According to his campaign filing, he's paid a total of $11,370 since moving into his office at 1740 Broadway in April.

Before that time, Cuomo -- but not his campaign -- operated out of his office at Island Capital Group, a real-estate investment firm.

CORRECTION: The Cuomo campaign moved into the office at 1740 in April, meaning that the $11,370 figure applies to a three-month time period only. The item originally suggested that the campaign was paying an almost impossibly cheap rate.

This correction, which began life as a "clarification," is intended to make that perfectly clear: it's not a six-month rate.
