Conde Nast: Anything for [em]Portfolio[/em]!

It’s still more than six months until Portfolio launches, but Cond&#233 Nast isn’t letting things go until the last minute. In addition to scooping up several reporters and editors for Portfolio, the company has also just acquired a website,, for the forthcoming business magazine. Cond&#233 Nast did not announce the purchase price of the website, which the company obtained from sells commercial art and provides freelance job listings.

The Conde Nast Business Media Group has acquired the url from, it was announced today by Ari Brandt, General Manager, Digital Media. will be the url for Conde Nast Portfolio. The web site will be launched alongside the magazine, Conde Nast Portfolio.

In addition, Conde Nast Business Media has entered into a promotional program with, designed to raise awareness for its community of freelance creative professionals. members showcase their talent to the advertising, publishing, and creative industries at and through a network of participating websites.

The magazine, Conde Nast Portfolio, and website will launch in May 2007 (on sale and live April 24).
