The state Board of Elections is meeting with local BOE officials in Albany today after which there is expected to be an announcement of whether they’ll have new voting machines in place for the 2007 elections.

The meeting ends at 3:30, one attendee told me.

Both Mike Bloomberg and Eliot Spitzer, I’m sure, will be watching closely.
