A Plea for Honesty in Albany

I just ran into Senate Minority Leader Malcolm Smith and asked him what was going on with the comptroller selection process, which has turned into an awkward standoff between the legislature and the governor.

His cryptic response:

“It would be simple if everybody just kept their word.”
