DL21C: Edwards is Still Coming New York

John Edwards is still expected to attend an event tonight in Manhattan organized by DL21C, according to two of the event's organizers.

But no more RSVPs are being accepted, they said, and unlike their other events, this one is closed to the press "as of now."

The event is set for 7 p.m. at Branch.

I'm waiting to hear back from the Edwards campaign press office, which is understandably busy at the moment.

UPDATE: Edwards spokeswoman Kate Bedingfield just called to say yes, he's still coming to to the DL21C event and no, it's not open to the press. And no, he probably won't address reporters before the event.
