On May 29, the day after Rudy Giuliani's birthday, the mayor will be the beneficiary of a local fund-raiser taking place in Douglaston Manor. $1,000 gets guests into a campaign briefing with the mayor and $2,300 buys a photograph with him.

One of the organizers for the event is Fred Brown, the former president of a group called the National Black Republican Association.
