Mother Makes Great TV

To the Editor:

I cannot for the life of me figure out why more people aren’t in love with How I Met Your Mother [“Meet Mother, Please,” April 23].

I’ve been watching since it first aired—in fact, the night it debuted was also the season premiere for the final season of Arrested Development, so I started on Fox and switched over to CBS. I laughed for a solid hour.

I watched Friends for the first few seasons, and to my mind, the Mother cast is just more likeable: I know a Marshall; I’ve never met a Ross, and I wouldn’t want to.
