Standing earlier today in an Ozone Park high school that he promised to build during his re-election campaign, Mayor Bloomberg unveiled his 2005 Campaign Accountability Report to reporters.
At the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering and Architecture, Bloomberg said that of the 100 campaign promises he made in 2005, 96 were done. He also said that "more than 91 percent" of the promises he made in the course of his 2001 and 2005 campaigns had been completed.
Some plans were not done, or had been "reconsidered."
Among the promises placed in that last category since he took office, according to the mayor, are pledges to require uniforms for all public school students, to lengthen the transition process for incoming mayors and, not least, to move Room 9 to Staten Island.
