Re “He’ll Always Have America” [May 14]:

I think the reason that Tony Blair is resigning is that he can see that the Iraq War is about to melt down and wants to be out of there so that it doesn’t happen while he’s in charge. If George W. Bush doesn’t want the war to fail while he is President, then maybe he should do what Mr. Blair is doing: resign before Iraq melts down.
