Back in 2004, humble songbird Norah Jones sang that “sunrise / couldn’t tempt us if it tried.” Oh, really? Ms. Jones (who we think is starring in a movie of some sort, kind of like Britney did? Klassy!) takes the stage with her Handsome Band at the ungodly hour of 7 a.m. today as part of the 2007 Good Morning America Concert Series in Bryant Park, giving that smoothie Diane Sawyer another opportunity to “groove.” And by the way, are we the only ones pretending to be horrified but secretly enjoying the cat fighting between ABC and NBC over who gets to interview that wh*re Paris Hilton? Anyway, for normal people who sleep till noon, there’s another free-concert opportunity at the South Street Seaport tonight: some British act called Fujiya & Miyagi in dubious homage to The Karate Kid. Wax on, wax off!
