With the fund-raising deadline approaching for the second quarter, Hillary Clinton convened about 50 long time donors yesterday for a meeting at the Mayflower in Washington to update them on the campaign's strategy, politics and policy developments, said one attendee.
"It's like a sales meeting," said the donor. "You want your key salespeople to be up to date."
The donor said that the meeting was part of a week-long series of briefings organized for contributors by the Clinton campaign.
