Estrogenfest! We’re totally psyched for tonight’s premiere of the epic and somewhat terrifying-sounding film Flying: Confessions of a Free Woman, made by this chick Jennifer Fox, which the Film Forum Web site describes as having a life “ripped from the pages of The New York Times Style Section crossed with the personals of The New York Review of Books.” (Hey, we thought that was Daphne Merkin!) Unspooled in three hour-long segments, the movie compares Ms. Fox’s lot to that of women in 17 countries, and boldly takes on all the big stuff: romance, divorce, sexual abuse and masturbation—not in that order, we trust. And … Ms. Fox will be in the hizzo for the evening show tonight. Ask her anything!
