9 a.m. The Annual Jefferson Democrat-Northeast Queens Republican Club Softball Game & BBQ will take place on Field No. 7 in Alley Pond Park, Springfield Blvd between 73rd and 76th avenues in Queens.

10 a.m. Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, together with Libraries Subcommittee Chair Vincent J. Gentile, Cultural Affairs Chair Domenic Recchia and local council members, will tour three branches of the public library system to announce the launch of full-day, citywide, six-day library service starting at the Jackson Heights Branch of the Queens Public Library, 35-51 81st Street, in Queens.

11 a.m. Families Against Cell Towers Near Schools will hold a press conference at 205 City Island Avenue, in the Bronx.

3 p.m. The CityParks Dance festival will launch at Herbert Von King Park, Greene Street at Marcy Avenue, in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

3:30 p.m. Bernadette Peters, Mary Tyler Moore and "Animal Precinct" star Annemarie Lucas will appear at the annual Broadway Barks benefit for shelters and animal adoption agencies at Shubert Alley, at Broadway and 44th Street.

9:45 a.m. Bloomberg speaks at the Abyssinian Baptist Church, in Manhattan. 

11:30 a.m. State Senator Ruben Diaz, Sr. and opponents of congestion pricing protest on the City Hall steps. 

Noon. Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion, Jr. will present Bronx On The Move, a series of family fitness events, at 170th Street and Mt. Eden Avenue in the Bronx.

8:45 p.m. Kevin McCullough, talk show host on New York’s WMCA 570, will speak about his book, MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking, on C-SPAN.

5 p.m. Rudy Giuliani and key economic leaders of the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee, Inc. will host a reception and panel discussion on Business Leadership and the Economy at the Grand Hyatt New York at Grand Central Station, 109 East 42nd Street.
