10:45 a.m. Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez will introduce a bill to bring Iraq troops home on the City Hall steps.

11 a.m. A memorial service for slain Council member James E. Davis will be held at City Hall.

Noon. Housing Works will open their health center for HIV-positive women at 57 Willoughby Street in Brooklyn.

2 p.m. Council member Tony Avella and New York Junior Tennis League officials will promote a summer tennis program at JHS 158, 46-35 Oceania Street, in Bayside, Queens.
