John Edwards and Nature

edwards by bay John Edwards and NatureHere’s John Edwards earlier today participating in a roundtable discussion about global warming with South Carolina environmental experts on the edge of a bay.

Edwards told them that as president, he would advocate an 80 percent decrease in greenhouse gases by 2050 and that he opposes new nuclear and carbon plants.

One unintentionally comic moment came when he asked, “How high are we above sea level right now?”

“Well that’s sea level right there,” answered one of the experts.

Overall though, they seemed to be impressed by his questions and answers.
