9 a.m. The South Bronx men's softball tournament will raise money for the breast and ovarian cancer charity, SHARE at the Pelham Bay Park Softball Fields 4 & 5, at Bruckner Expressway and Wilkinson Street, in the Bronx.

Sunday

4:30 p.m. New York State Senate Democratic Leader, Malcolm A. Smith, and hip-hop star LL Cool J will appear at Jump and Ball basketball and double-dutch tournament at Daniel O’Connell Park on Murdock Avenue between 196th and 197th Streets in St. Albans, New York.

Monday

11 a.m. The Brazilian Day Festival will take place on 6th Avenue between 42nd and 56th Streets.

11 a.m. The West Indian Day Celebration will take place at the Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn.

2 p.m. A Labor Day Celebration, featuring a DJ, free food, and non-alcoholic drinks, is presented in a refurbished community garden at 150th St between Tinton Avenue and Union Avenue in the Bronx.
