Is John McCain running a little low on recent highlights?

Among the “fast facts” that the McCain campaign provided in the “Did You Know” section of an email to supporters earlier today:

“In 1997, John McCain was named one of the ’25 Most Influential People in America’ by Time magazine. In 2002, John McCain was the first senator to host an episode of Saturday Night Live.”
