Last night, former Assemblyman Ryan Karben held his annual barbeque at his home in Suffern, New York.
Karben was chased out of the Assembly by allegations he acted inappropriately with an intern, but has since resurfaced with a private legal practice and an increasingly visible fund-raising role for Eliot Spitzer.
More than 100 people made it out to Karben’s backyard for the catered barbeque. Some notables included Eliot Spitzer’s Jewish liaison, Ross Wallenstein, former Bronx borough president and mayoral candidate Freddy Ferrer, Assemblyman Adam Bradley, Yonkers City Council President Chuck Lesnick, undeclared Brooklyn city council candidate Ezra Friedlander, New York Democratic Lawyers Council steering committee member Josh Pepper, attorney and self-described Cuomo supporter Menashe Y. Shaprio, and Alison Hirsh of 32BJ.
