9 a.m. Activists will protest the Iraq war at the Times Square Recruiting Center, 43rd Street and Broadway.

9:30 a.m. A video conference with Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian regarding U.N. representation and East Asian security concerns will be held at the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel, 1 United Nations Plaza, 44th Street between First and Second avenues.

11 a.m. Activists will call for a Sen. Hillary Clinton-Barack Obama debate and preview plans to march in African-American Day parade at the Apollo Theater, 253 West 125th Street.

Noon. Anti-war activists will call on Sen. Hillary Clinton to reduce funds to the Iraq war at 780 Third Avenue.

7 p.m. Robert Miller will discuss his book, "The U.S. and the Colonial Wars: Indochina, Korea, Algeria, Vietnam and Their Influence on the Two Wars in Iraq" at the CUNY Graduate Center, 34th Street and Fifth Avenue.
