11 a.m. The American Kennel Club will sponsor a Responsible Dog Ownership Day at Madison Square Park, 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue.

6:30 p.m. "Bridging the Divide," a gala celebrating Arab and Jewish culture, will be held at Laila Lounge, 113 North 7th Street, in Brooklyn.
