Over the course of these two weeks at the Open, 3,000 racquets will be strung and restrung. There is one central nerve system where this all goes down, where coaches dump off racquets and pick them up later.
There's one big name who hand delivers his racquets: James Blake. "Blake will bring in two racquets," said Joel, who works for Wilson. "He wants them strung up but then he leaves them overnight so they set. It'll lose a little tension that way."
