Noon. Attorneys and advocates for the Alghaithi family, who suffered injuries in the Harlem gas explosion, will make a public statement in front of NewYork-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center at York Avenue and 68th Street.

Noon. Sen. Marty Golden will celebrate the opening of a Brooklyn Food Pantry at 7708 New Utrecht Avenue.

7 p.m. Sunset Park Family health Center's 40th Anniversary Gala Awards Dinner will be held at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 333 Adams Street.
