Romney to Go After Rudy on Line Item?

Mitt Romney's spokesman, Kevin Madden, expects the former Massachusetts Governor to make a big deal out of Rudy Giuliani's past opposition to the line-item veto during tonight's Republican debate about fiscal policy in Michigan.

As Madden puts it: "I think if an opportunity were to come up about spending you could say line-item veto. Giuliani has a particularly bad record of being the one who kept the president from the practice of using the line-item veto."
