Fishin for Bass: We know you’ve been waiting breathlessly for the publication of Lance Bass’ Out of Sync, the hard-hitting autobiography by the former boy band member. Well, it’s here! Funnily enough, the party is not going to be at Justin Timberlake’s restaurant but at Azzia on East 55th Street. Meanwhile, down in Chelsea (where we suspect Mr. Bass would have preferred to have his party), it’s City Harvest’s Bid Against Hunger party, which gets you delicious food to taste from places like Four Seasons, Aquavit, Blue Smoke, Five Points, Gramercy Tavern, Jean Georges, Le Bernardin, Le Cirque and Picholine, among others. Billy Crudup, known for being a rake and a superfine actor, will be honored for his support. Expected to attend is the ever-lovely Lauren Hutton, Soprano Michael Imperioli, designer Nicole Miller and scary-ass Rachel Ray. All we can hope for, really, is that silver fox Frenchie Eric Ripert will be in attendance.

[Lance Bass book party, Azza, 137 East 55th Street, 8 p.m., by invitation only; City Harvest’s Bid Against Hunger, Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, 7 p.m., www.cityharvest.org]
