CW Crowns New Show After ANTM Finale

The CW will sandwich its new reality show between its two hit shows on Dec. 12. Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants will premiere after the America’s Next Top Model finale and before Gossip Girl. Crowned will then move to the Wednesday at 8 p.m. time slot, serving as a new lead-in for Gossip Girl, according to The New York Times’ TV Decoder blog.

Zap2It speculates that the reality show is an “omen for the future of TV programming” as the writers’ strike enters its second week.
