Via RottenTomatoes: If you’ve been clinging to the hope that Screen Gems’ remake of the original 1987 The Stepfather was some kind of cruel trick, you may as well face facts — it’s really happening. And the studio has found actors willing to star in it.
Variety reports that Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh, Once and Again actress and Richard Kimble’s wife in The Fugitive Sela Ward, and Penn Badgley, who plays Dan, the "alternative" dude, on Gossip Girl, have signed on for the remake, with Walsh stepping in for Terry O’Quinn (John Locke on Lost).
