Bill Richardson is looking for help.

In an email to supporters, the head of his New York effort writes, “Our most immediate need is for people to help with collecting signatures between now and December 3 to get Governor Richardson on the ballot in New York.”

Dear ###,

My name is Natalia Sorgente, and I am the National Director of Ballot Access and Delegate Selection for Bill Richardson's presidential campaign. I am writing to you because critical deadlines are approaching in New York.

In the next few weeks, we need to gather signatures of Democratic voters around New York so that Governor Richardson will appear on the State's ballot for the February 5, 2008 primary. New York voters deserve to hear that Bill Richardson is the Democratic Party's best choice in 2008 because he is the only candidate who offers change and experience. Our campaign is getting stronger every day. Recent polls reflect this momentum in Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada. Across the country, we are the only campaign consistently moving up in the polls and we intend to run a strong, visible campaign in New York. With your help, we can win!

I hope you will help us spread the word and help us earn the Governor a place on the February primary ballot.
