Staff Changes at CNN International

Recently, CNN grabbed headlines by announcing that they were investing in overseas reporting at a time when many news organizations are busy axing foreign bureaus. Today, CNN International announced two staff changes that will impact their overseas programming.

Katherine Green, formerly the vice president and news director at a Fox affiliate in Washington, D.C. will take over the role as senior vice president of programming for CNN International, according to a CNN press release.

Mike McCarthy, formerly managing editor for CNN International, will take over as vice president of coverage and feature programming.

Both Ms. Green and Mr. McCarthy will work out of Atlanta.
