Bloomberg on Why the Private Sector Works

Michael Bloomberg announced today that he’s expanding a successful plan that steers high-risk teenagers into internships with the goal of providing a career path.

In this clip, Bloomberg explains the move:

“In government, few people say thank you for programs that work, and a lot of people scream when programs don’t work. So, government tends to move money from things that work to things that don’t work.”
