Times Sunday Biz Writer Departs

Via Talking Biz News: Ron Stodghill is leaving his job as a Sunday business features writer for The New York Times in order to become editorial director of six magazines published by the Charlotte Observer, according to a Times memo.  

Mr. Stodghill says his Times job is "wide open for anyone who wants to take a crack at it," though given Bill Keller’s recent announcement that open positions will be filled by internal candidates, you probably need to already be at The Times.
