A group of influential labor leaders are hosting a breakfast reception with the Assembly speaker on Thursday, December 6.

The list includes Stuart Appelbaum, president of the Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union (R.W.D.S.U.); Gary la Barbera, president of the N.Y.C. Central Labor Council; Randi Weingarten, president of the United Federation of Teachers; and Edward Malloy, president of Building & Construction Trades Council.

Suggested donations, which go to the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee, range from $1,000 to $10,000.

The fund-raiser is taking place at 8:30 a.m. at the R.W.D.S.U. Building (30 East 29th Street).
